Last night, I believe I felt the first real "kick" (even though I swear I have been feeling them for awhile now). This one was very strong, and happened about 3 times in a minute. The doctor said I wouldn't feel movement until atleast 20 weeks, but he is a liar. I just feel my body is way more intuitive than that. AND, I have proof! During the last ultrasound when the technician caught the picture of a kick, I felt that kick, and didn't realize she had taken a picture until we had them printed out. So, Mr. Doctor, I believe you are wrong this time. I have some friends who have told me that they felt flutters early on too. We shall see though...as they get stronger, I will be able to know if that was what I was really feeling.
In the meantime, I thought it would be fun (and cute) to blog 10 things I didn't know about being pregnant...should make you laugh :).
1. Not only does your belly expand, but your legs, thighs, butt, hips, and arms "expand" too.
2. You will have ODD dreams, WEIRD dreams, and dreams that make you go "WHAT?!"
3. You wake up every hour, on the hour, throughout the night to pee.
4. Naptimes are a must...no questions.
5. You remember the date of your next OB appointment like your birthday.
6. You conquer some of your fears, such as having blood drawn. It is all for the baby now.
7. People smile and grin at you in public...even holding doors for you and letting you walk across streets while holding up traffic.
8. Brushing your teeth becomes almost like a burden...(not going into detail).
9. Bathtime used to be relaxing, now it just hurts your back to lay in the position.
10. You have a good excuse when your craving french fries and hamburgers....at 3 am.
