Today, David and I went for our 12 week ultrasound. Turns out the CRL is still measuring about 4 days behind...BUT, the little one is so darn cute. Maybe I am biased? He/she was moving a lot at first, but then decided to take a nap. Sound familiar? Not sure if that qaulity is more like mommy or daddy seeing is how we both love our sleep. I saw a few little kicks and pushes before the naptime. I swear I could feel a little movement when the u/s tech was pushing to see the head. I think he/she was protesting that move. The heartbeat was 172! You could see it beating away.
I am so in love already. I had a dream last night that we went in for an ultrasound and david's face was the face of the baby...and it had a beard. HAHA. Then, the nurse says, "its a boy." Weird dream. In the back of my mind, i really want a girl...but I have a slight feeling it may be a boy. But, either way that child will be the love of my life (well, it already is.) I am soo EXCITED I got to see it move for a little bit. My day is complete. I have amazing pictures on my facebook page under the album "Baby's first photo shoot" so check them out.
