I went shopping yesterday because I desperately needed hangers since I have been getting a lot of maternity clothes lately, and came across some halloween decorations. I thought to myself, "Isn't it only August 21st?" Before you know it, we'll see valentine cards out before the end of the year. It amazes me how fast time flies. Just a few weeks ago we were watching fireworks and eating hot dogs in the blazing heat (well, i was sick on a boat this year). I am sure I have mentioned before how much i love LOVE love fall and the weather that comes with. I can't wait to break out the jackets and uggs (mine are fake, but comfortable). I have suddenly realized, though, that none of my winter coats are going to zip over my belly. Not even my monkey woman jacket (the best one of them all). I have a feeling I'll be resorting to oversized hoodies, and possibly many many layers of long sleeve shirts. Let's just hope I am too hot to need a jacket; those hot flashes are no joke.
I am anxiously waiting to feel that cold crisp breeze blow by, but by the look of it, we'll be having a few more weeks of blazing hot. Yuck, yuck, and more yuck. Maybe I will move to Colorado for the time being. I hear they have pretty nice weather right now. Then, when the snow moves in, I'll fly back to NC. Who is with me? I know David is ready...we both are longing for some cold weather.
